About

I work and live in Los Angeles, California which is where all of my cooking, baking and life going-ons take place. There’s nothing fancy about the stuff I like to cook and bake–it’s usually just grown-up versions of stuff I ate as a kid. And you’ll for sure find a lot of breakfast on here. That’s totally my favorite meal of the day.
I started this blog in 2009 with my friend Caroline. She’s since departed to start her own blog, Pink Basil.
I currently contribute to:

Yay! I’m so glad to have found your blog. I love that you are self taught (and that your mom left a comment? hehe).
Indeed, my Mom is arguably our number one fan!
I just found your blog via foodbuzz, and it is absolutely delightful! Your recipes and photos are gorgeous. I look forward to catching up on all you’ve already posted and keeping up with everything new. I’m trying your marshmallow milkshake as soon as I eat all my Easter candy.

Stumbled upon your blog today and am lalaloving it! I’m browing recipes when I should be working and it’s all good!
Yup, I pretty much love A Cozy Kitchen. For real. When I read “it’s usually just grown-up versions of stuff I ate as a kid” I was like, “Yes!” (I seriously eat “grown up” mac ‘n cheese, like, once a week. Maybe not that often, but close.) Anyway, I love your recipes, love your photos, love the look of your blog – everything! Thanks for being so lovely and consider me subscribed!
I just wanted to let you know that I came across your blog today and it’s amazing. All the food looks delicious! I am most definetly following you now.
Hi I came across your blog, while blog hopping & instantly loved the header & feel of the blog. Gonna visit lot more!!
I came across your blog by absently clicking through stumbleupon the other day and have been hooked on it since. I have a list a mile long of recipes I want to try! I absolutely love food, but I am a terrible cook so I love that fact that all of your recipes are so simple yet look sooooo delish. I think I have found a new favorite corner of the internet. Thanks so much for sharing your great ideas.
Hey! I prepared the Coca-cola Cupcakes today! WON-DER-FUL!!!
LOVE IT!
Nice recipes ! There appears to be a problem with your recipe index. Scroll down past appetizers and you will see what I mean. Hope you can fix it.
Best Regards,
Bert
Love your site– so much fun. Apple pie, applesauce, apple cake, apple everything!

Hi, Adrianna, I love your blog!! How did you learn cooking? I am becoming one of your fans now! Hehehe..
Hi Bella! My parents taught me, and I also learned a lot by trial and error. Thanks for being awesome!
I found your blog about ten minutes ago. Now, you’re my new best friend. Together we’ll make lots of baked goods. I hope you’re okay with that.
Totally okay with it. I love new friends! x
Omg! You are adorable! I’m sooo excited to try some recipes! I LOVE all the breakfast ideas, it’s my favorite meal of the day.
Hi Adrianna!
I am actually writing because I’m curious about your web design! Did you hire someone to design your site? I think it’s just the sweetest. I would love the contact information for the designer if you’re willing to share.
My friend, Teri Lyn Fisher, from the blog, Spoon Fork Bacon did it. If you’d like, you’re welcome to hop over to her website and contact her for rates.
Hi Adrianna!
I will definitely be trying some of your dishes this weekend!
I came across your site on bloglovin’. The glitter nails caught by eye but everything on here looks amazing and delicious! Scrolling through, I wanted to comment on every post!
YAY! So glad you found me. Truly. Happy you’re here!
I love your website. Thank you for such beautifully appealing layouts and delicious, easy-to-follow recipes. Your roasted brussel sprout leaves idea is genius! I made them for New Year’s Day Dinner and threw them in a bowl with wild rice, roasted black eye peas (never cooked them that way before, but yum!), sautéed mushrooms and sprinkles crispy bacon over the top and it was a huge hit! I can’t imagine why I’d never eaten B-Sprouts this way before?!?! Happy New Year to you!
Hi Mandy! Thanks for being so sweet! Glad you loved the b-sprouts. And glad you’re here!
Just added you on Facebook. So happy. I told you a while ago that you inspired me to make my own food blog. The one I made was a flop so I made a new one and I love it! Thanks for the ongoing inspiration and abundance of food porn.
p.s. here it is if you want a peek http://phonyfeast.tumblr.com/. <3
Found your blog via Saveur.com and you’re the first food blogger I’m following! Plus, I have actually tried two of your recipes over the weekend (polenta fries and peanutbutter cookie sandwiches). Love the pictures, tasty recipes and fun writing!
I love this. Thank you thank you.
Are you Facebook/Feed/Twitter buttons intentionally placed that way to spell FAT? hehehe..
I ADORE your blog! But I can’t seem to access your Recipe Index…is this a problem only I’m having?
Honestly, best blog ever though!
Adrianna,
I LOVE your blog! It is so pretty and simple. I am so very new to the blogging world and feel so overwhelmed with everything. How did you get all of your gadgets in the right place and make everything look so nice?
Keep up the good work.
Did I mention the food looks marvelous?
Just found your blog by way of PW, I love it!!
YAY. So glad you found me!
I seriously log on to your blog more than I do Facebook (which is a lot). Love love love it. I make the portobello fries at least once a week. I die.
Whoa. This is the nicest thing ever. THANK YOU. I love those portobello fries, too.
Oh my goodness.
I have no idea why it’s taken me SO long to discover your blog, but I’m so happy I’m here now! Love your recipes and your photography is stunning! Plus I miss living in LA sometimes (went to college there) so looove seeing a fellow west coaster.
