I’m a recipe developer, writer and food blogger living in Los Angeles, California. I live with my mischievous corgi puppy, Amelia, and boyfriend Joshua. When I’m not making human food, I usually can be found making Amelia birthday cakes or homemade dog treats—it may be a favorite past time.
If this is your first time here, you can expect a lot of breakfast food. Pancakes are dreamy. And pie! Sooo much pie. My mother is Peruvian, so from time to time you’ll find me making some recipes that she’s passed down to me. (If you’re sick, this soup will save you! And these cookies are my favorite.) The food I tend to cook and bake is never fancy—it’s usually just grown-up versions of stuff I ate as a kid. Think comfort food…gone cute.
In Spring of 2013 my first cookbook (!!!!) was published by St. Martin’s Press/MacMillan titled, PANCAKES: 72 Tasty Recipes for the Perfect Stack. If you’d like to read more about it, jump on over the cookbook page. I’m currently writing a new book called The Year of Cozy, which will be published by Rodale in Fall 2015.
