Oh there’s this pork stew recipe with pearl onions and hard apple cider that I made from Bon Appetit a few years back and it uh-mazing. I lost the recipe in a move, and I just found it again this spring. I can’t wait until it’s just a little colder so I can make it!

You won’t be disappointed!! My grandpa has a persimmon so I’m spoiled with fresh persimmons every year. So earthy and rich.

As someone who is always eager to whip out the kneesocks, sweaters and cocoa when it dips below 78 degrees, I always look forward to my mom’s chili and my grandma’s pumpkin pie. Both are amazing and the perfect way to kick off fall for me!

This fall I’m most excited about baking apple cakes and tarts! (I think I overdosed on pumpkin last year, so this year it’s all about apples… : )

I love everything pumpkin but I want someone else to make that stuff for me. I get excited about baking with apples, but I don’t know why since slicing apples is a lot more work than opening a can of pumpkin!

Ohhhh I love caramel apples! That’s more “Fall” to me than anything pumpkin!
