Whoa! I’m giving away an All-Clad Griddle!

in Giveaway

WINNER UPDATE! I LOVED hearing what you all want for the holidays. I enjoyed reading every one, as some of them were humble and cute, and some where just downright hilarious. Without further adieu, the winner is:

Jen who said, “Great Giveaway–that griddle would be awesome. So far on my Christmas list I have a new laptop, a couple cookbooks, and a new black boots.”

Go Jen! Thanks all for entering. Have a cute week! xo

——————————————-

All-Clad is like Prada…but for your kitchen.

Yeah, it’s fancy and expensive. BUT worth it. Whenever I buy expensive shoes or bags, I just tell myself that they’re such great quality that I’ll be able to give them to my future daughter.

Who knows if that’s true, but I do suggest telling yourself that.  It makes the sting of anything remotely expensive feel a little less tingly.

I do this same thing with fancy cookware.  It’s a good technique.  I have a gorgeous set of All-Clad cookware in my kitchen, that I surprisingly found on Craigslist from some dude who was gifted the set from his mom. He couldn’t pay rent, and didn’t cook so he was selling it brand new, never used at more than half price.

And then since I was scared to meet him at Starbucks, because there was a possibility of him being a murderer, I dragged a friend of mine with me and they both realized they were from the same small town outside Boston. Small world.

LA is a weird place.  You can buy All-Clad in a Starbucks at half price.

Anyway, basically I’m saying that All-Clad can last you a really long time and the quality is pretty awesome. So that’s why when CSN Stores contacted me about doing a giveaway, I picked this griddle. And because I’m a long admirer of pancakes. Obviously.

CSN Stores is a total one-stop shop.  You can buy everything from dining chairs, kitchen gear to doggie toys. Cool!

Want to enter?! Of course you do! Here’s how:

1.) Enter once by leaving a comment here on the ol’ bloggy blog. Tell me what you want for Christmas/Holidays. Is that too early? Sorry!

2.) Enter a second time by following me on Twitter. Just be sure to leave another comment here to tell me you did so.

3.) Enter another time by “liking” A Cozy Kitchen on Facebook.  And then leave another comment to tell me you “liked” it.

Winner will be picked on Sunday, October 10 (a.k.a. my birthday!) at Midnight (PST).  Giveaway only open to U.S. and Canadian residents.

I’ll select one winner through random.org on Sunday.

xo

For christmas? I would love an iPod! Mine is kind of biting the dust at the moment, so a smaller, fully functioning iPod would be grrreat :-)

I want a new bicycle! Mine is completely worthless…my husband and I go biking and I have to pedal three times as much as he does because my bike is junk. I may bite the bullet and just buy one myself in a few weeks though…. :-)

All I want for Christmas is a Gucci handbag. But in my real life, I will probably get new pair of running shoes. All Clad is actually on my short list, too! Thanks for the giveaway!

I’m Jewish, but my birthday is on Christmas Day, so I do celebrate with all my Christian friends. I want … I want … I want … to be able to afford extensive dental work on a 13-year-old American Eskimo that I just rescued and adopted. Poor Eskie’s human is ill, went to assisted living, and the family was going to put the Eskie in a shelter.

I’ve been reading so many hip foodie blogs and design/photo blogs that now I’m yearning for a Canon Eos with fancy extra flash to drive everyone around me nuts with taking pictures all the time. I also want to not live in a one bedroom with my two kids and husband, but that is on the really big items list!
